Mr Takei, an inventor of blind tennis and Ms Matsui, a former secretary general of the Japan Blind Tennis Federation, and I started developing in summer 2010 for the ideal ball.
It took time and various approaches, but we completed the ball. Even now, we are constantly improving the materials and other aspects of the ball. The ball is characterised by its emphasis on the spread of natural sound without relying on electronic devices. This unique system allows the sound quality to change depending on the change in the pitch, so once you get used to it, you can make nuanced judgments based on the sound it produces. Unfortunately, we can only deliver a few balls due to the problem of procurement of raw materials and the fact that each ball is handmade, so we may have to wait for delivery. At the same time, Shoei Industry has delivered the balls continuously to 37 countries so far. However, the numbers are growing fast, indicating the sport's spread worldwide and the players' smiles.
As of 2023, our company will have been in business for 46 years.
Our main business is processing polyurethane foam, but we are especially good at processing products for special applications.
We produce toy products, industrial goods, and sporting goods for a wide range of applications.
