A plus for the filmmaker is that he used the entire screen to tell his story(not really a good thing for someone who likes sitting close the screen but. br>
I got more of a tv show vibe from this movie rather than a movie. It was long with a lot to say and it moved from scene to scene like I was binge watching something on Netflix.
It's biggest crime was that it was boring due to the feeling that the movie was never going to end. A bit ironic as the purpose of the movie was about a man who kept fighting a uphill battle on a steep road.
Mark Rufflo was that man, but his quiet warrior persona, though very amusing at times that needed it was overall lackluster. Not enough pep in the step.
Tim Robbins gives a speech in the film that they give oscars for and though I felt the passion, the way it was film was very low key and it lost something as I watched it.
Overall, I like it. I like what it gave to me I like what I got from it, but it was a little bland in delivery.

Really liked this movie. Compelling storytelling and visuals, as well as good acting across all the main characters.
Pulled me into the story, and also surprised me with the actual ending/credits.
Highly recommend if you like this sort of movie "based on real events/litigation/questionable corporate conduct" around our everyday commercial products and name brand companies.

I loved this series so much when it came out. The toys were awesome, though I hate that there wasn’t a Tula figure. But the look, the ideas behind it all, the world building of it. I can’t believe that this hasn’t been rebooted in some way. It could work as almost anything. A series, a trilogy of movies or something, a video game, this series is so ripe for rebooting that it’s ridiculous.

Haven't seen the movie but reading the book, Exposure, by Rob Billot, right now-holy cow! Dupont's own internal documents clearly show that they knew PFAs were toxic but released tons of the stuff into the environment anyway. Here's a map of where in the US PFAs have been found-I'm using this map to choose where we live next-not wanting this crap in our water.
I remember going to the crick/stream behind my grandparents house n catching crawfish, n there were some giants in there.

It's been a while since this has been posted, and it was even the longer form version of it, nice to see people's reaction that haven't already seen it. This was filmed off the Farralon Islands (you can glimpse some of the seastack in the background) about 15 miles off the coast of SF. It's a common Great White breeding area and this was captured by a boat in a shark study. They knew a curious female was tailing them and they put a gopro on a stick just above the water, revealing the horror underneath as the wave laps over the lens.

I would like to give recognition here to my grandfather, who won a Distinguished Conduct Medal (one tier lower than Victoria Cross) for a mission that has some similarities to this story in WWI (he also served as a staff driver in WWII) Citation DCM LG 3.9.1918 D145 R101: 11388 Pte Douglas Willmott Wain (Leicester 7th Battalion, A Company, 3rd Platoon - Tigers. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty as a company runner. He was sent with a message to a neighbouring unit headquarters. As it had been moved and he was unable to find it, knowing the contents of the message, he showed it to various batteries, who immediately opened fire and dealt with the attack. His splendid courage and initiative in taking the message through heavy artillery and machine gun barrage through to the batteries, after failing to find the unit headquarters, was deserving of the highest praise, and his promptness undoubtably saved a serious situation.
