Ordinary Love is a really surprising film. It's by no means a perfect film but it is a really enjoyable film with emotion done well without feeling too over the top especially for a cancer film.

Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville are really great here. They really do carry this film. Since it is primarily focused on these two characters and pretty much no one else. Liam Neeson is really great here and it makes me wonder why he hasn't done more action films.

Overall it's a very simple told very effectively. It does have a lot emotion and it really does work especially the ending. But it's definitely worth watching.

Beautifully written I think most people can relate to this story performances are fabulous. Definitely 10/10.

Hey Reddit! Happy Friday! So here I am, it's Friday night and well... I've got nothing really going on. I'm finding myself in this situation more often the older I get. I suppose I should be spending my free time at the gym, or volunteering somewhere right? That would be probably good. Anyways, I've gone in the complete opposite direction and found myself here. Sorry not sorry. So what am I doing here? Like everything, I'm shooting my shot trying to find myself in the middle of a RAOMD OR RAOS adventure. Now, like my title says I can't guarantee orgasms. I mean I tried to read some posts here before I posted to try and get a feel for what would be best and it seems like some of these guys have unicorns running off tips of their tongues shooting rainbows into your vagina. I wish I was that good! I mean geez. But, I'm just you're average ordinary home body. I like to watch netflix, garden, do DiY projects around the house, and operate power tools. Sex or muff diving has never really been the focus of my life, I guess because I don't put myself out there that often. But, here I am! And if I can't promise you an can I promise you? I can promise you this: Probably the most important thing, an up to date STD test. (I'm clean by the way! Woot) I can host, in a safe neighborhood with drive way parking. A clean house. I love to clean! Clean sheets, bleached bathrooms, freshly vacuumed, dusted. Plenty of games to play. I own a PS4, a Switch, I have cards, or puzzles we could do if were still warming up the whole idea of this crazy situation we've put ourselves in. Come over and lets play some Mario Party, or Mario Kart and after we steal enough stars and coins from each other we could have a really great hate fuck! A willingness to listen and learn what it takes to get you off. I can't promise the orgasms, but I'll sure as hell take all the direction I can to try and make it happen! Ability to accept no for an answer. Maybe you get here, and you just say ahh fuck this nerd. I'm out! Ok, that cool too. If you're not comfortable, I would hate for you to stay that way. Honesty is the best policy and if you're not feeling it for whatever reason. I can handle that just fine. I'm very hygienic! I can promise, I will be showered. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner. I can promise my teeth will be flossed, water picked, mouth washed and brushed. A king size bed with this super plush and comfortable comforter. Like should come over just to cuddle in it. It's that amazing. A true pampering session. Maybe you don't need a muffdive per se. Maybe you need a solid foot rub? Or are you into ASMR? Let me know if you're favorite triggers and see if we can relax you that way. Though... a muff dive on top of all that? Now we're talking! I really didn't want to end my list at 9. I felt weird about that. So I'll add, I have netflix, and HBO, and plenty of things to stream or watch if were trying to get comfortable or afterwards if you're not quite ready to leave. And so Reddit, those are the things I can promise you. If I still have your attention after all of that, I'm sure you're wondering what I look like by now too. I'm not quite that comfortable putting up a picture of myself on this part of Reddit but I'd gladly exchange pictures if you're interested. To give you an idea though, I'm white, 6'2, short brown hair, hazel eyes, average body more on the thin side. For all you beard lovers... I'm so my fathers genetics. And so, if you're interested. This is almost a fly-on-the-wall style telling of how an ordinary couple discover and come to terms with one of them having cancer. It is told in an intimate but not sentimental way, and is really quite touching. Owen McCafferty's script uses humour, sex, pathos, occasional anger, and a relationship with another couple in a similar (though more terminal) situation to help convey the deep senses of frustration, helplessness and hope as they go through the testing and treatment procedures. Liam Neeson plays his part well; though the script doesn't give him too much to work with. Lesley Manville is superb, though - really very convincing; she elicits sympathy by the bucketful. It doesn't pull it's punches so be prepared for a tough watch at times.
