TL;DR: How do you beat a player who is straight up vastly more skilled than the rest of the table without ganging up on them? Now the long context behind the question: I am still very new to EDH as a whole, and have had an issue come up recently. Not overly come up, but an issue that has been prevalent and now I am starting to fully understand a skill gap. I got into EDH about a month ago with a friend. Another friend in our group joined in after we talked about our first night at an LGS and how fun it was. (I went over this in my only other post if you are curious). As I have learned, I will speak a bit more vague of lines and interactions as I would like more helpful and serious answers (not sure if last time was just a bad sample). We continued to play with a pretty kind stranger (I'll just refer to him by a nickname he told us he had at an LGS he used to play at: Prossh. Apparently after a deck he used to play a lot) we met the first night at the LGS. Prossh showed us how to build decks, gave some channels/podcast we could watch/listen to in order to learn more interactions and get a better grip on the game, play MTG Arena to learn to play the game a bit better as it was free and would help us learn to make better plays overall, and taught us the terminology used a lot in forums like these. We all found his advice pretty helpful and we were getting better, but there was one problem: he won a lot when we played with him (roughly 80% of the games. I did keep track). Our only solution was to gang up on him to try and stop him from winning. His deck just seemed to function so much better than ours. One of the nights (at the LGS) we played with him he took notice that we were ganging up on him (pretty obvious being honest). Prossh kind of looked at us and asked was something bothering us, and we told him that it felt like he was playing a deck much stronger than ours. He then said trade decks with him for a game each. Prossh would take turns playing our decks and we each got a turn to play his, and just play as normal. And he then proceeded to continue to mop the floor with us. No matter which deck he played he seemed as usual, difficult to stop, having the answers he needed, and just generally dominating the game way better than we did when we played the decks. Prossh did help build the decks. Not like gave us the list but gave a general structure and way to build the decks that helped them perform consistently and it did honestly work wonders, but it was still unsettling how well he could play our decks. Prossh also helped make sure the decks were all around the same power level (when we played with just us the games were all very close). Our decks are also quite different from each other (we had a Feather Aggro, Elsha Spells, and a Marchesa Airstocrats were the terms he used to describe them). After his deck reached him again, he excused himself from the table to find a new group for the rest of the night. We all knew he was a more experienced player, but it was staggering how our decks seemed completely different when he was piloting them. The decks seemed to be on a completely different level when he played them. However, his point was abundantly clear: it wasn't the decks. So my main question is this: How do you beat a player who is just better than you? I know I am new to the game, but it is honestly problematic because he is fun to play against and has been quite helpful, but it is kind of annoying how much he wins (he is not a sore winner, but he did get annoyed when we were ganging up on him with no real provocation other than it was him playing and that was reason enough). We know he didn't stack the decks or cheat (we shuffled the decks and he would always let us cut the deck, and even when playing our decks it felt like he was playing one of his own. Is there a different way to approach this that I am not thinking of? Thanks for your insights in advance reddit!

I actually really love this series. Very cute, wholesome, with just enough serious and mature themes to make it compelling. That said. can't bring life back to where it has left. What about the wooden wheel and the broomstick, then? Or the fabric and leather bags? The LIVE FLOWER he animated in the first episode? If a rock has a fossil in it, can he still animate it? Silly little nitpicks. But still I wonder.

It's sort of like. Tokyo Godfathers.
If this is how a robot ends up, imagine how a person might end up.
I know he's going to war with France but i wish they would do away with the accents. They just sound silly. Or at least have him speaking French with subtitles.
