3.Pledge

<Pledge>
I pledge to participate in the tournament in compliance with the JIBT rules set by the tournament organizers as well as the laws and regulations related to the operation of small boats. I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions for my participation in the tournament.

<Acceptance of Responsibility>
I will participate in the tournament with full attention to safety and health on my own responsibility. I understand that no medical staff or first aid stations might be available in the tournament site. In case of an accident or illness during the tournament, I will be solely responsible for taking appropriate actions, including emergency treatment and hospital visits at my own expense.

<Liability for Accidents>
I will not seek any compensation from the tournament organizers for any death, injury, or other personal accidents, as well as loss, damage, or theft of boats and equipment that occur during the competition and related events. Furthermore, I accept that the responsibility of the tournament organizers is limited to the coverage of their insurance, which applies only to registered competitors and not to non-angling guests.

<Disclaimer>
I agree not to request a refund of any expenses (including the entry fee) incurred for participating in the tournament in case it is cancelled or the competition content is modified due to force majeure such as natural disasters or adverse weather conditions.

<Portrait Rights and Personal Information>
I consent to the use of my photographic portrait and personal information for the production of tournament pamphlets, results, promotional materials related to the tournament, press, and other information media. I also agree to the use of these personal details by the tournament organizers and the governing bodies.

<Consent of Family and Guardians>
My family, relatives, and/or guardians understand the content of this agreement and consent to my participation in the tournament.

<Regarding Matters Not Specified in This Pledge>
I agree to resolve any matters not specified in this pledge in accordance with the JIBT rules and the tournament regulations.

<Notification and Consent of Passengers and Related Parties>
I pledge to inform my crew members and other related parties in my team regarding of the above matters and obtain consent from them. I understand that only those who have agreed to these terms will be allowed to participate in the tournament. I also pledge to handle and resolve any disputes arising with these individuals at my own expense and responsibility, without causing any inconvenience to the tournament organizers.

<Delegation of Judgment to the JIBT Executive Committee>
I understand that the JIBT Executive Committee determines the species of caught fish based on the photos or videos submitted by the competitors. I entrust the final judgment of species to the JIBT Executive Committee.
