If you do not agree, your application will not be accepted.
 


Waiver and Consent Agreement

  1. I, the applicant (or parent/guardian of the child participating in JINIS Camp), along with the participant (the child participating in JINIS Camp) (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Participant"), confirm that we have read, fully understood, and agreed to this "Waiver and Consent Agreement" and all regulations related to the camp before applying for participation in JINIS Camp (hereinafter referred to as "the Camp").
     
  2. The Participant understands that, during the Camp, the organisers of the Camp, including the staff of Next-Generation Educational Environment Development Co., Ltd. (NEED), Jinseki International School staff, teachers, interns, and any other personnel or organisations involved in the Camp (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Camp Organisers"), will act diligently to ensure the safety of the Participant. The Participant agrees to comply with all instructions provided by the Camp Organisers.
     
  3. The Participant agrees to adhere to the programme content and schedule of the Camp, including any changes made to the content or schedule during the course of the Camp.
     
  4. In the event that the Camp is cancelled due to force majeure, such as natural disasters (earthquakes, typhoons), outbreaks of infectious diseases, or other unavoidable circumstances, the Camp Organisers shall not bear any liability, and the Participant waives any claims, demands, or lawsuits against the Camp Organisers.
     
  5. Compensation for damages incurred by the Participant due to reasons attributable to the Camp Organisers will be limited to the scope covered by the insurance subscribed to by the Camp Organisers. However, this limitation does not apply in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Camp Organisers. The Camp Organisers are not responsible for any damages incurred by the Participant that are not attributable to the Camp Organisers. The Participant waives any claims, demands, or lawsuits against the Camp Organisers arising from their participation in the Camp.
     
  6. The Participant consents to the Camp Organisers directly contacting the Participant and/or the registered emergency contacts in case of emergencies. If neither the Participant nor the emergency contacts can be reached promptly, the Participant authorises the Camp Organisers to take emergency measures at their discretion.
     
  7. The Participant agrees to bear all costs incurred for any emergency measures taken by the Camp Organisers, regardless of whether such measures were pre-authorised.
     
  8. If the Camp Organisers determine that the Participant cannot continue in the Camp, the Participant agrees to be picked up during the Camp period. All associated costs will be borne by the Participant, and no refunds for participation fees will be provided.
     
  9. The Participant agrees to fully compensate for any damages to facilities, equipment, or supplies caused intentionally or negligently by the Participant.
     
  10. The Participant acknowledges that, except for bereavement or temporary return home deemed necessary by the Camp Organisers, overnight stays outside the Camp for personal reasons during the Camp period are not permitted.
     

Anticipated Risks During Camp Activities and Risk Management Measures

  • Land-based Activities: Risks such as cuts, bruises, and fractures from falls.
    Measures: Participants will be thoroughly briefed on safety precautions, hazards, and prohibited actions. Warm-up exercises will be conducted prior to activities.

  • Water-based Activities: Risks such as drowning from capsizing or falling into the water.
    Measures: Participants will be thoroughly briefed on safety precautions, hazards, and prohibited actions. Training will be conducted on land, and all participants will be required to wear life jackets during activities.

  • Cooking and Related Activities: Risks such as cuts and burns from cooking equipment.
    Measures: Participants will be thoroughly briefed on safety precautions, hazards, and prohibited actions, and activities will be conducted under the supervision of the Camp Organisers.

While the Camp Organisers will take all possible precautions to manage risks, any Participant who fails to adhere to the safety instructions or prohibited actions may be required to leave the Camp, with their guardians being responsible for pick-up. The associated costs will be borne by the Participant, and no refunds will be provided.

If transportation to or from Hiroshima Airport or Fukuyama Station is requested due to unavoidable circumstances, additional fees will apply as follows:

  • Escort and transport to Fukuyama Station (one way): ¥25,000

  • Escort and transport to Hiroshima Airport (one way): ¥50,000



Cancellation Policy

Participation fees are non-refundable under any circumstances once payment has been made.
In the event of a Camp cancellation by the Camp Organisers (excluding cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Camp Organisers), the participation fee will be refunded, excluding the registration fee of ¥80,000.
